Entry

1. These Terms and Conditions, as published on the website www.mswaraffle.com.au and as amended from time to time (“Terms”) govern the terms of your participation in the MSWA Multi-Choice Raffle (“Lottery”) operated by MSWA (ABN 75 638 080 972).

3. By purchasing a ticket in this lottery, you will be deemed to have read and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

4. The following people (and anyone who resides at the same address as them) are prohibited from purchasing a ticket:        

    

   1. MSWA Board Members
   2. MSWA Executive Team Members
   3. MSWA Head of Departments
   4. MSWA Marketing Team Members
   5. MSWA Information Systems Team and Ticket Fulfilment Staff
   6. BDO Australia Directors and employees associated with the lottery draw

   7. Any staff member who works on the MSWA Account from MSWA’s associated agencies.

       

5. Participants must be 18 years or older. 
6. The MSWA Multi-Choice Raffle is run primarily, but not exclusive to Western Australians. If the winner resides in Victoria, gold bullion will be awarded in lieu of cash. 
7. To claim prizes, including cash (or a cash alternative), ticket purchasers must be able to provide proof of an Australian address and an Australian bank account.
8. Name changes on tickets are not permitted.
9. The records held by MSWA shall be deemed correct and final.
10. MSWA reserves the right to refuse sale or refund tickets to an individual at their discretion.
11. Where it is lawful to do so, these Terms may be updated and re-published online at www.mswaraffle.com.au

Tickets

1. Lottery tickets are $3 each.
2. Only 400,000 tickets will be sold.
3. Assuming all 400,000 tickets are sold, each ticket has a 1 in 400,000 chance of winning a prize. 
4. The names of all major prize winners will be available online within 48 hours of the prize draw at www.mswaraffle.com.au
5. The total retail value of prizes is $76,985 as at the time of MSWA’s purchase of said quote.
6. All prize winners will be notified in writing.
7. Promotional images of the prizes are for display purposes only. Prizes awarded may not be exactly as illustrated.
8. Prizes must be accepted as awarded.
9. The winner(s) will be determined by a computerised random number generator which has been approved by the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor.
10. MSWA are not authorised to process ticket refunds without written approval from the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor. This process may take a number of weeks. Refunds cannot be issued after the final prize draws have begun.

Publicity and privacy policy 

1. Prize winners agree to have their name and suburb published by MSWA for publicity purposes.
2. By entering the Lottery, the prize winners consent to videos, audio recordings and photographs of the prize winners being used for reasonable promotional activities both in print and on the internet including on social media platforms.
3. By purchasing a ticket, participants agree to receive promotional materials for MSWA Lotteries & Raffles.
4. MSWA will not disclose any confidential information to any person other than in accordance with the MSWA Multi-Choice Raffle privacy policy. For information on the MSWA Multi-Choice Raffle privacy policy, visit www.mswaraffle.com.au/privacy-policy or for a printed copy, call 1300 769 019.

Liability

1. MSWA and associated agencies accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, accident, death or injury resulting from the promotion, and all contestants release from, and indemnify MSWA against any claim they may have in respect of all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize or participation in the competition including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.

Prizes

Early Bird Prize:

1. The Early Bird Prize winner(s) will win the choice between a holiday to Hamilton Island (RRP $10,000) or $10,000 in cash

2. Hamilton Island holiday package includes: 

    

   1. Return flights to Hamilton Island for 2 passengers
   2. 4 night stay at Reef View Hotel 
   3. Airport transfer
   4. Holiday prizes must be accepted as awarded, and do not include travel insurance, spending money, an Australian passport or any other expenses unless otherwise stated. 
   5. Holiday winners are required to book and take their trip within 12 months of the prize draws. 
   6. If the winner wishes to negotiate an arrangement with Flight Centre, this negotiation will be solely between the winner and Flight Centre. MSWA will not enter this process. Flight Centre terms and conditions at help.flightcentre.com.au/s/article/booking-terms-conditions-au 
   7. To claim the prize, the winner will be required to complete a 100-point identification check and present their official winning ticket.
   8. Should the cash prize be selected, a bank deposit or bank cheque will be made out to the ticket name holder(s). This will be received within a maximum of 20 business days after a 100-point identification check has been completed and verified by a MSWA representative.
   9. Only tickets purchased before Midnight, Wednesday 19 February 2025 are eligible for the Early Bird prize. 
   10. If all tickets are sold before Midnight, Wednesday 19 February 2025 all prize draws will be completed on Friday 21 February 2025 
   11. If tickets remain after the Early Bird sales close, only the Early Bird Prize draw will be completed on Friday 21 February 2025 

   12. Each ticket purchased before the Early Bird sales close is also eligible to win the Grand Prize, including the winner of the Early Bird Draw.

        

3. Grand Prize:

    

4. The Grand Prize winner(s) will have the option to accept the Mazda CX-60 GT (RRP $66,985) OR trip to Japan for 4 (RRP $60,000) OR $60,000 cash
   1. The Grand Prize winner(s) will be given 48 hours from the time of notification to make their decision.

   2. If the Grand Prize winner(s) elects to take vehicle, arrangements between the vehicle dealership and the Grand Prize winner(s) will commence immediately to order and arrange delivery of the prize.

       

      1. The vehicle prize includes all on-road costs, excluding motor vehicle insurance. 
      2. Expected wait time on the vehicle is approximately 6 months.

      3. Prizes will be delivered within 30 days. Delivered meaning prizes will be in the winner(s) name within 30 days. 

          

   3. If the winner(s) elects to take the holiday prize, arrangements between Flight Centre and the winner(s) will commence immediately. Holiday inclusions:

       

      1. Return flights to Perth- Osaka – Tokyo – Perth
      2. First class Japan Rail pass included
      3. Airport Transfer
      4. Universal Studios Osaka 1 day pass
      5. Disneyland Tokyo 1 day pass

      6. Hotel stays included 

          

   4. Holiday winners are required to book and take their trip within 12 months of the prize draws.

   6. If the Grand Prize winner(s) elects to take the $60,000 cash, a bank deposit or bank cheque will be made out to the ticket name holder(s). This will be received within a maximum of 20 business days after a 100-point identification check has been completed and verified by a MSWA representative.
