Unfortunately, the prizes are not donated. MSWA negotiates and agrees on a price with each of the prize suppliers. In many cases, a generous discount is offered to support a worthy charity. If your business would like to donate a prize for use in our fundraising programs, please call MSWA on 1300 769 019 or email [email protected].
MSWA are not authorised to process ticket refunds without written approval from the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor. This process may take a number of weeks. Refunds cannot be offered after the final prize draws have begun.
Changing, adding, or removing a name from one our lottery tickets is not permitted. This is to ensure that the person (or people) who purchased the ticket is eligible to claim their prize.
In order to award any of our prizes in the MSWA Multi-Choice Raffle, MSWA are required to sight identification proving that the winning name(s) matches the name(s) on the ticket. If someone had changed the name(s) on that ticket (or removed the other person listed on the ticket) this would lead to legal complications around who has the right to claim the prize.
Please note that if you were to win a prize with your ticket and wanted to share that prize with another person, you would be welcome to do so – their name doesn’t need to be on the ticket, as it would be your responsibility to share any prizes.
If you have purchased a ticket and would like to change, add or remove a name then the best approach is to request a refund for your original ticket and purchase a new ticket. Any new tickets purchased would have a different ticket number than the original ticket. Please note that requests for ticket refunds need written approval from the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor commission. This process may take a number of weeks. Refunds cannot be issued after the prize draws have begun.
If you have requested your ticket(s) to be delivered by Australia Post you should receive your tickets in the mail within 10 working days of us processing your official order form.
You will receive your ticket via email at the end of your online ticket purchase. For purchases over the phone you will receive your ticket purchase confirmation via email within 2 business days.
